The Lasvit Group was founded in 2007 and is based in the Czech Republic. The company are the leading designer and manufacturer of custom contemporary light fittings, feature architectural glass installations and lighting collections. The owner Leon Jakimic founded Lasvit with a single vision – to create the perfect experience through the quality of light, glass, and design. Lasvit projects span the globe from London, Paris and Prague, to international cities including Moscow, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Singapore.
This fascinating chandelier named "And why not!" refers to designer René Roubíček´s lifelong search for compositions and forms incarnated in glass. The chandelier´s emotionally intense sculptural form resembles a flash and is an evolution of Roubíček´s core designs based on dynamic abstraction.
