Based in the city of Porto in Portugal, Bat Eye captures within its designs the structure, style and colours of the designer's birth place – Porto. The brand creates pieces that seamlessly merge art, architecture and design capturing like a bat, the minute details, that make each piece truly special.

This stunning sideboard is made of satinwood lacquered in mother-of-pearl and covered with traditional hand-painted Portuguese tiles whose bas-relief doubles as handles to open the drawers. The credenza is set on an iron base inspired by the landmark D Luis I bridge in Porto, which was designed by Théophile Seyrig, a one-time associate of Gustav Eiffel.
