It’s been a hectic few days here in Milan and the design scene is truly buzzing. We continue our journey today through the wealth of talented brands, established and emerging designers at Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone. Each unique and interesting in their own right.

Here’s a round up of micro-trends we’ve spotted through the many halls we’ve visited (so far) at Salone del Mobile 2018 and also throughout the events all around the city (Fuorisalone).

One of the things we love the most about our interiors journey is discovering new designers with fresh ideas that make us fall in love (even more) with the interiors world. Hend Krichen is a London based Tunisian born designer who graduated with an MA in product and space design from Kingston University. Her ‘Tunisia Made’ collection continues to make waves in the industry with its beautiful mix of grey-and-white vessels, terracotta, copper and patterned earthenware.

You know I have a soft spot for the Italian way of life. Having lived there for many years only made my infatuation grow deeper and stronger. I love that they embrace a way of life that places family and friends at the heart of it. They take their holidays seriously, their wine and food are divine and don’t even get me started on their sense of style!
