Geoffrey Harcourt (1935- ) trained at the Royal College of Art in London. In 1962 he began to design for Artifort, his designs introducing Artifort to the international market for contract design. His philosophy was based on 'First the person, then the chair.' Harcourt was awarded many prizes over his illustrious career, and has kept a close working relationship with Artifort throughout.
The strength, elegance and simplicity of Geoffrey Harcourt's Chaise Lounge is striking. One neat, hairpin bend winds round its occupant to create a perfect spot to stretch out and unwind. Fabric snugly fits around a cushioned structure to create a plump and comfortable sofa which doubles up as a masterpiece for your living space.
