For more than 50 years the brand Ilulian has been renowned for its collection of antiques and luxury items. Founded in 1960 by Massoud Illulian, the company is now run by Massoud’s two sons who have evolved the company and kept it on the path to success. The company have showrooms in Milan’s famous fashion district and in Pieri Pinto. Impressively some of their carpets have also been chosen as expressions of contemporary art in various museums, displaying universal cultural heritage.
The delicate and tranquil swirls designed on the Curly rug bring an essence of calm to any room. The rug is hand tufted on wooden looms and is made from 100% wool and natural silk making it unbelievably soft to touch. Each Illulian rug is hand knotted using traditional methods, with carefully selected hand spun wool and vegetable dyes.
