The Ciatti family has been in the business of design since the 1950s. More than three generations of the Ciatti family have taken the creative lead in developing the company to what it is today – passion for design, understood as a form of expression applied to common objects. Designer Bruno Rainaldi is a curious utopian designer that was the creative force behind Opinion Ciatti for eight years. Rainaldi describes himself as a ‘street designer’ and his own personal style as ‘chaotically rigorous’. Now, he is the founder and creative director of Studio Rari and collaborates with many Italian design companies and showrooms.
The Funky Punk Chair designed by Lapo Ciatti infuses fresh contemporary style with a twist of intense eccentric punk audacity. An impressive 398 studs cover the back of the chair and make them standout against its striking colour. The studs and seat are colour coordinated, which adds great texture to the otherwise clean lines on the chair. Its frame is made from die-cast aluminium, galvanized iron and is decorated using water based paints, making it ideal for outdoor or indoor use. This limited edition piece comes in three colours neon red, white or black.
