In 2009, Merci opened its doors in the Haut-Marais area of Paris. Their store is a destination with cafes and restaurants as well as exhibitions. Merci have said that they were originally inspired to create the Brooklyn collection after so many visitors to the store commented upon their tin counter. They collaborated with NLXL and created a wonderful collection of wallpaper featuring aged tin-plates that evoke memories of North America around the turn of the twentieth century.

This wallpaper has a white metal tin-plates design inspired by tin ceilings that were prevalent in North America about 100 years ago. The design is printed in super high resolution on heavy-duty wallpaper with a paper top-layer and a non-woven backing, making it look extremely realistic.
