Dimensions H70cm x L235cm x D93cm x SH42cm Material Textile: Gabriel/Medley, Wood Construction HR Foam, Lacquered Steel Swell consists of a solid wooden frame with Nozaq springs with HR 38 cold foam on the seat and HR 35 cold foam on the back and armrests. Over this, is a layer of supersoft S25 cold foam which ensures optimal comfort. The legs are made of lacquered steel. Maintenance Clean with textile or upholstery cleaner. Frequent vacuuming with a soft fitting is recomended to preserve color and appearance.

Normann Copenhagen was started in 1999 by Jan Andersen and Poul Madsen. They have created a brand that works with a large number of Danish and international designers who each have their own unique perspective when it comes to design. All the designers have their own process whether it is working with glass, clay or digital programs to create their designs. They all share a love for contemporary design and products that challenge conventional thinking. Jonas Wagnell originally worked as a graphic designer before deciding to move into product and interior design. He studied for his MFA at Konstfack University College in Sweden and graduated in 2007. His designs take inspiration from minimalism but with an added hint of expression. Warmth, humour and colour are combined with minimalist design to create what he describes as “expressive minimalism”.

The Swell sofa takes its name and form inspiration from ‘rising bread’. Its curves and full shape mean maximum comfort whilst the stitching on the back and the seats provides a sharp detail that exudes quality.

The sofa comes in a variety of fabrics from Camira starting at £3610.00 for the Oceanic range to the Yoredale (wool) at £4015.00. Other ranges include Zap, Aquarius , Synergy and Main Line Flax.
