In 1934, Anglepoise® designed a revolutionary spring technology, delivering ultimate flexibility and perfect balance. Today this timeless, classic design enjoys iconic design status. The design is inspired by automotive engineer George Carwardine, who created the blueprint for a ground-breaking articulated task lamp that could combine ultimate flexibility with perfect stability.
The Original 1227 Mini Collection is a playful take on the iconic 1930s Anglepoise design. Two-thirds smaller than the original size with fittings finished in chrome, the collection is a contemporary homage that is both stylish and functional. The desk lamp is available in Dove Grey, Jet Black or Linen White gloss finishes.
