Anglo-Italian design duo Brendan Young and Vanessa Battaglia first appeared on the international design scene in 2003 with their up-cycled furniture collection at Salone Satellite in Milan. Working initially under the name Studiomold, their early pieces included their 'Love 36' chair that was made using reject Dunlop tennis balls, and the award winning 'Recycled Sound' speakers made from old vinyl records. In 2011, they founded their own design brand Mineheart, which produces a range of interior accessories in England.
A unique rug designed in collaboration with American artist Chad Wys for the Classics Revisited Collection. The poetic image of a young boy and his dog is stretched and melted, as if on a piece of parchment from a bygone age. This wistful and romantic design is digitally printed on a special fabric backed rubber, which is then hand cut in to its final hide shape.
