For 15 years they have created collections that emphasize form, craftsmanship and emotional connection. Luisa Peixoto, the founder, was born in Portugal and has a passionate affinity for nature. She says, “One hundred years from now, houses will be floating, with transparent floors, so you can be in touch with nature, a direct look upon earth.”
In celebration of 15 years of Luisa Peixoto Design, the brand has partnered with 15 Portuguese artists to create 15 limited edition furniture art pieces. The Garden of Hidden, is an extraordinary piece that has been hand-painted by João Figueiredo. The Garden of Hidden Cabinet tributes the Garden of Eden – its name chosen as a deliberate play on words - there is an intriguing art deco style painting of Adam and Eve. The body of each of the characters follows the bold waveforms of each door, which creates a striking representation of the human body. This will certainly be the talking point of any household and will have guests staring in complete awe.
