Meet The Maker

Universo Positivo was started by furniture makers Ethnicraft and designers Jan and Lara. They first showed their work at the Maison&Objet in 2013. They have collaborated with Hertel Klarhoefer, David Caspar Schafer, Thomas Merlin and Jonas Wahlstrom to create a wonderful collection. Their pieces reflect simplicity and refinement but have a touch of the playful side that emphasizes their idea that you should enjoy life.

Description

The Gud chair combines steel and wood harmoniously and effortlessly. The seat and base are made of solid oak. The reinforcement plate beneath the seat is made from lacquered metal. The front of the seat is especially curved so as to provide maximum comfort - form and functionality are both in play here.
