The Ciatti family has been in the business of design since the 1950s. Over three generations of the Ciatti family have taken the creative lead in developing the company to what it is today. The Ciatti’s passion for design is materialised as a form of expression applied to common objects. Designer Bruno Rainaldi is a curious utopian designer that was the creative force behind Opinion Ciatti for eight years. Rainaldi describes himself as a ‘street designer’ and his own personal style as ‘chaotically rigorous’. Now, he is the founder and creative director of Studio Rari and collaborates with many Italian design companies and showrooms.
The White Uptown Bookcase is an open-face system of combinable, stackable and invertible book-shelves that come in a variety of sizes. The irregular shaped designs vary according to how many shelves you choose to have and depending whether you would like to store books, CDs, art or DVDs. The Uptown Bookcase is coated in a luxurious white, solvent-free, scratch resistant paint.
